Roaring Lambs Leadership Lessons

          This Week's Lesson

        Leading With and Through Traditions

Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the

         Sabbath."   Mark 2:27

"A leader has respect for traditions, but he has a greater respect for people.  If a tradition is valid and helpful, a leader will use the tradition to help accomplish his goal," says Bob Briner.

Briner continues, "Jesus did this in many ways, using the traditions that glorified God to help people understand Him and His will.  However, Jesus was careful to brush aside traditions that were onerous and nonsensical and did not reflect the nature of God.  Discerning the difference is critical."

A good leader questions the system, making the necessary changes for improvement.

Jesus was the ultimate leader, let his example guide you in every decision you make as you live a FAITH THAT WORKS AT WORK!
